Envy - The Bird And The Worm

"All alone, he turns to stone,
Holding his breath half to death.
Terrified of what's inside,
To save his life,
He crawls like a worm from a bird."

After reading chapter 97 (I think) in the FullMetal Alchemist before school one day, I got so hyper that I sketched this up in ten minutes in my notebook. Then I decided to redraw the same picture in MSPaint, plus some colour. I was listening to "The Bird and the Worm" for about three straight days before I drew it, and the song's what inspired this little doodle. IT'S A GOOD SONG!

The green thing in the front is Envy. The bird is Roy...but as a bird. His feathers are blue, like his coat, and I coloured his talons to look like his gloves. Since Roy is the one that almost killed Envy in the Manga, it seemed fitting.

Tools: MSPaint, LOTS OF COFFEE.

Time: The drawing took about ten minutes. This? Two and a half weeks.

Yeah, outrageously long time to work on a picture, but the colouring took a while and it's Thanksgiving weekend so I've had my hands rather full. But it's COMPLETELY FREEHAND THIS TIME!
